Superannuation

RUPA is currently reviewing the structure and placement of the default player superannuation account for 2012.

PACD Overview

The (PACD) is a joint initiative between the Rugby Union Players’ Association and the Australian Rugby Union.

This information is for all Super Rugby Players, team managers, officials and accredited player agents.

Please be advised that further to RUPA’s most recent presentations to each Australian Super Rugby team, a new group insurance policy was placed on 1 February 2012 with the agreement of the ARU.

This policy is the first of its kind in Australia; offering a significant level of benefit in the instance of catastrophic and career ending injury with an income protection component. The policy will be funded jointly by the ARU and by contributions from all Super Rugby contracted players.
