The 11th Annual Rugby Union Players’ Association Christmas Lunch is being held at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney on Friday 11th December 2009.

The MC’s for the event is Wallaby Adam Freier. The highlight of the day will be the announcement of the RUPA Medal for Excellence and the Newcomer of the Year award.

Retiring and departing players Julian Huxley, Clyde Rathbone & Scott Fava will also be farewelled.

This year’s entertainment involves current Super 14 players’ partipating in the Rucks & Mauls Game show hosted by Andrew Klein.

Auction item funds raised from the day will go to the RUPA Foundation Partners or personal charities nominated by players'.
